lights”. The game will begin at 7:30pm. The
team will meet at the Berlin Park and Ride at 5:30pm. Please see the driving
directions to Winooski, however we would like all players to meet at the Park
and Ride to assist the players that do not have rides. Players should arrive to
the field by 9:00am.
Senior Tide Blue

grade Blue team will be playing Saturday morning at Barre City Elementary. The game will begin at 10:00am. Players should arrive to the field by 9:15am.

The flag team
will be playing a jamboree in Essex. The

Please
post these phone numbers on your refrigerators for any questions you may
have. However, your players should still call THEIR HEAD COACH if they will
not be able to attend a practice or game.
The coach’s phone numbers are at the bottom of every newsletter and on
the homepage of the website.
PLEASE
contact your parent rep with ANY concerns.
We can not fix issues that we do not know about!
BIG PICTURE
OK… We are going to try this one last
time! Tuesday only about 30% of the players showed up to practice with their
game jerseys and a large number of the 5/6 team didn’t come to practice. This FRIDAY
all teams should be prepared to take the big group picture at 5:30. Flag will not have practice but should come
to get their picture taken, please!
PARKING
We have had
some recent issues with parking. The school will be handling all future parking issues. They have asked the police to ticket
cars parked in the no parking areas (along the road). We no longer have any responsibility to be
the parking police (YAH!)
Tuesday,
September 15th and Thursday, September 17th are Open
House days at Barre City Elementary.
Because we share their parking lot we ask that football parents either
park at the pool or at the very end of the parking lot to allow parents access
to the school.
Lost & Found
We have a
lost and found box in the shed. It is
growing! Please ask you player to check
it if he is missing anything.
RAVENS FOOTBALL
Our flag football team has been invited to participate in the
half time of the next Ravens game this Sunday at 1:00. Flag players should arrive before 1:30.
Our flag team will separate into two teams and scrimmage on
the field during halftime for about 15 minutes.
Remember… all BYSA Football
players get into the Ravens games for free if they wear their game jersey.
Parents and siblings are $5. If you are a flag parent and are only
coming for halftime, please let the ticket people know when you come in and you
will not have to pay, but you need to leave right after halftime.

RAFFLE TICKETS
Remember to
keep selling raffle tickets! The tickets
are only $1.00 each and every cent goes back into our BYSA program. Each player is required to sell at least 20
to offset our expenses.
SATURDAY GAME CONCESSIONS
This Saturday’s
home games will be the Blue 5/6 and 7/8 teams. We would like the 7th/8th
grade Blue team parents to cover the concessions for the 5th/6th
and visa- versa. The parent reps may be contacting you if we do not have enough
volunteers to cover the games.
