The
5/6 teams will be playing at Essex Friday
night under the lights this week! This week the BLUE will play before the
BLACK! This is different than usual.

have. However, your players should still call THEIR HEAD COACH if they will
not be able to attend a practice or game.

Erica
Johnson has resigned as the parent rep for 5/6 Blue. We would like to thank
Erica for her time. Christine Blanchard will be the rep for all of 5/6 for the
rest of the year. The 5/6 Blue or 5/6 Black team should contact Christine with
any concerns or clarifications.
NORWICH GAME
Norwich University
has been nice enough to invite us to their game this Saturday. We will all meet
in the Spaulding parking lot at 11:30 and go to the Norwich field. This is Parents
Weekend so the pre-game show is awesome! Dont miss it! It is free and exciting! PLAYERS MUST WEAR THEIR GAME JERSEYS.
RAFFLE TICKETS
PLEASE --- PLEASE --- PLEASE
Return
your raffle tickets ASAP. Please turn your tickets in to Teresa Beaudin at the
beginning of practices. As a reminder, each player is required to sell at
least 20 tickets. Our program could
really use the funds from this fund raiser. They are due by October 10!
LOST & FOUND
We have
many lost and found items that need to be claimed (boy and girl items). Please
see the lost and found box by the shed.
FOOTBALLS
Our program has lost over $300 worth of footballs so far this
year. If your player has come home with
a football please send it back with him at the next practice.
MAINE TRIP
We
held a meeting on Monday to begin discussions for the Maine trip. The next meeting will be this coming Tuesday
(9/29/09) at 5:30. All players and
parents interested in participating should attend this meeting. We need to know who will be on this team so
it is important everyone interested attends this meeting or let Coach Bob know
you would like to participate but are unable to attend.
PRACTICE TIME/LOCATION CHANGES
Due
to a Friday night game this week the 5/6 team will be adding Thursday (9/24/09)
to their practice schedule. Also, we cant practice at our normal location Thursday
night. The following are the locations for practices: 7/8 behind Hannafords,
5/6 Spaulding Little League field, flag Rotary park baseball field.
RAVENS GAME
This
Sunday is the Ravens last home game. It
starts at 1:00. Players get in free with
their game jerseys and parents are only $5/each. The concession stand is run by BYSA football!
